Scrum Master DD&IT US&I AMERICAS

Key Responsibilities

• Lead one or two Agile Scrum teams delivering high-quality solutions in complex, global environments
• Act as a servant leader, promoting Agile principles, team accountability, and continuous improvement
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Partner with Product Owners to refine backlogs, prioritize work, and ensure delivery flow
• Remove impediments, resolve conflicts, and protect teams from external disruptions
• Track and communication delivery metrics including velocity, cycle time, and quality outcomes
• Manage end-to-end project delivery using waterfall or hybrid methodologies where required
• Establish governance including risk management, stakeholder alignment, and decision forums
• Lead release planning, cutover, change management, and transition to operations
• Act as the primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication on progress, risks, and issues

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent practical experience
• Agile or Scrum certification such as Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master
• Minimum five years of experience in information technology project delivery within complex global environments
• +5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master coaching teams to high performance and Agile maturity
• Strong experience delivering projects using waterfall or hybrid methodologies including governance and risk management
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across global and cross-functional teams

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working in pharmaceutical or life sciences environments
• Familiarity with Agile and project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, and ServiceNow
