Site HSE Manager Commercial Operations Japan

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead site Health, Safety, and Environment strategy aligned with global standards and operational excellence goals
• Build trusted relationships with authorities, communities, and business stakeholders
• Establish and maintain compliance systems for safety, environmental, and business continuity requirements
• Drive implementation of HSE policies, standards, and procedures to prevent incidents and environmental impact
• Ensure accurate collection, verification, and reporting of site HSE data to global teams
• Oversee occupational health, safety, and environmental protection in line with regulations and best practices
• Coordinate cross-functional and regional HSE initiatives, including biosafety, radiation safety, and process safety

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment within corporate environments
• Proven experience in people management for at least 2–3 years
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business, authorities, and external partners
• Fluency in both Japanese and English, written and spoken

Desirable Requirements:

• Any working experience in manufacturing company such as Medical, Chemical, PET, food and etc.
• Project management capabilities with end-to-end execution experience
• Preferred certifications include: Class 1 Health Officer License, Class 3 Radiation Protection Supervisor License, and Certificate of completion for the Safety Manager Appointment Training

• 事故・疾病予防および環境保護に向けたHSE方針・手順の導入と運用を推進
• グローバルチームへのHSEデータ収集・検証・報告の統括
• 労働安全衛生および環境保護を、法令・社内規程・ベストプラクティスに基づき確実に実行
• バイオセーフティ、放射線安全、プロセスセーフティを含むHSE施策の部門横断・地域連携を推進

Essential Requirements

• HSE領域における実務経験8年以上（コーポレート環境）
• 2～3年以上の組織マネジメント経験
• 社内外ステークホルダーとの関係構築力
• 日本語および英語での高いコミュニケーション能力

Desirable Requirements

• 製薬、化学、食品など製造業における経験
• プロジェクトマネジメントの知識とエンドツーエンドの実行経験
• 資格をお持ちの方は尚歓迎 : 第１種衛生管理者、第３種放射線取扱主任者、安全管理者選任時研修修了証
