The Senior Supply Chain Lead for Gulf Cooperation Council, Middle East, Türkiye, and North Africa Healthcare markets is a senior regional leadership role accountable for end to end supply chain strategy, planning, and performance across a complex, multi country region. The role ensures a reliable, compliant, and cost effective supply of medicines while driving service excellence, profitability, and working capital outcomes.
Working in close partnership with Commercial, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations leaders, this role plays a central part in aligning supply chain decisions with business priorities and patient needs, while supporting sustainable growth and operational resilience across the region.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the regional supply chain strategy across Gulf Cooperation Council, Middle East, Türkiye, and North Africa Healthcare markets in alignment with business objectives
- Lead demand and supply planning processes to ensure reliable product availability while balancing service, cost, and inventory targets
- Own regional inventory and working capital performance, ensuring disciplined planning and execution across markets
- Oversee order management, logistics operations, distributor performance, and tender support activities across the region
- Partner with Commercial and Finance teams to align supply chain decisions with sales, margin, and cash flow priorities
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution and business continuity
- Support product launches, life-cycle management, and network changes in close collaboration with cross‑functional partners
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen supply chain efficiency, transparency, and resilience
Essential Requirements
- University degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, Engineering, Science or a related field
- Significant experience in supply chain management within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or fast‑moving consumer goods environments
- Proven experience leading supply chain operations across multiple countries or regions
- Deep expertise in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, logistics, and order management
- Demonstrated ability to deliver improvements in service levels, cost performance, and working capital
- Strong experience working cross‑functionally with Commercial, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams
- Solid knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems, including strong experience with SAP
- Excellent communication (fluent English language required), influencing, and stakeholder management skills
Desirable Requirements
- Knowledge of the Arabic language is preferred
- Experience working in tender‑driven and highly regulated markets
